So, you want to be a Superhero behind the scenes as well? The 24/7 Superhero team is always looking for some helping hands. If you, as an individual, or an organization of 25 people or more wish to volunteer, please fill out the information below and someone will contact you soon.
What will you get?
You get a free shirt, free lunch, and lots of fun.
Typically, we request that organizations provide 25 or more volunteers in exchange for a donation to their organization.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for individuals or local organizations ready to make this a great time not only for the participants and spectators, but for all volunteers as well! We are asking for a minimum of 25 volunteers (at least 16 years old) to staff one or more of the following shifts:
SHIFT A: Friday October 8, 2010 from 11:00am-7:00pm
SHIFT B: Saturday October 9, 2010 from 6:00am-2:00pm
SHIFT C: Saturday October 9, 2010 from 10:00am-6:00pm

Tasks for the Day:
1. Packet pick-up – Assist in the distribution of race packets to participants.
2. Supervising course obstacles for participant safety and cheering/encouraging them as they face the super villains.
3. Stationed at booths (gear check, concessions, t-shirt stand, etc.)
4. Start and finish lines water distribution & post snacks tables
**The above is an example of some volunteer tasks for the day. Actual tasks may vary and will be assigned on race day.

What you get in return:
For each shift that your organization covers, we will make a donation to your organization. We will mail the check to group organizer on the Wednesday following the event. Each volunteer will receive an awesome 24/7 Superhero staff t-shirt to be worn during the shift. We will also feature your organization’s logo on the 24/7 Superhero webpage with a link to your webpage. (Please note, this only applies to non-profit & charitable organizations.)
If your organization is ready to help participants conquer the super villains and available for volunteering for one of the shifts, please let me know and I will forward on a copy of our Volunteer Contract in order to confirm your reserved shift time.
